PHILADELPHIA — As Pennsylvania voters eagerly await their vote-by-mail ballots, PennEnvironment announced its endorsements of state and federal level environmental champions for Election Day 2020. This list spotlights the candidates with the best environmental records and plans who are running for the state House,  state Senate,  Attorney General of Pennsylvania, and Congress.

“With unprecedented heat in our state this summer, wildfires burning out of control out west and the Gulf Coast getting battered by hurricane after hurricane, it’s never been more important to support legislators who will fight for urgently needed climate policy and other environmental protections in Harrisburg,” stated Ashleigh Deemer, Deputy Director of PennEnvironment. “In the face of ongoing pressure from polluters, their lobbyists and their political allies in the halls of the state capitol, these candidates will stand up for clean air, clean water, climate solutions, and protect our great outdoors.”
